             abstract = "The use of remote sensing through Landsat-TM5 images, allowed the 
                         evaluation of the spatialization of the agricultural frontier of 
                         soybean in 7 districts under the influence of the Integration and 
                         Development Axis of the BR-163 in 2000, where it was shown that 
                         the districts consolidated and structured during this occupation, 
                         are inserted mainly on the old savanna areas. However, more 
                         recently, according to statistic data, it is strongly invading the 
                         forestry areas due to the implantation of this highway in 
                         districts considered to be expanding in this crop. It is also 
                         observed that the more consolidated they are with soybean, the 
                         greater is the population concentrated in the cities and the 
                         school level and income presented in the district are higher. On 
                         the other hand, several environmental impacts occur in the 
                         region.",
